Take Care
Here are a few tips (and things to avoid) to keep your jewelry looking its best.

Avoid contact with strong scents and perfumes.
Lotions, perfumes, and hair products can cause damage over time, so try to avoid direct contact whenever possible.
Tip: Put your jewelry on last—after showering and applying any products—to help protect it.

Remove before exercise and swimming.
Whenever possible, remove jewelry before extensive exercise and swimming to avoid exposure to sweat and chemicals. Remove rings before lifting weights or playing sports like volleyball and baseball. If you forget occasionally don’t sweat it (pun intended), but this simple measure will protect your jewelry from discolouration and damage.

Keep It Clean
If you notice tarnish or smudges on your jewelry, give it a wash with mild soap and water. You can even use a soft bristle toothbrush to gently scrub, and dry thoroughly after. Occasionally polish jewelry using the Sunshine polishing cloth, but do so sparingly and gently to avoid wearing down the surface of the metal.

Store in a clean dry place
Place jewelry in the anit-tarnish bags it came in, or in other clean airtight containers. Make sure your jewelry is fully dry before putting it away.
Tip: If you’re travelling with jewelry make sure pieces are separated to avoid tangles and scratches from bumping against each other.
